Third SAT II?

I'll be applying to Harvard for Regular Decisions.

Currently, my test scores stand at

SAT II:
Physics - 800
Mathematics II - 800
World History - 750

By the time I realized that Harvard required three SAT subject tests, it was too late to register for the November SATs, and I have an important debate tournament on the date of the December ones. I'm thinking about taking the English Literature SAT II (fairly confident I can get 800) on stand-by, as it'll only be an hour or two of a Saturday; should I? Or at this point, does it not really matter?

You already have 3 SAT II"s. So why would you take another one? I don’t understand…

If you do want to, you can take the January one. Harvard will still take SAT scores taken by applicants in January.

Your USH score is fine. But if you really think you can pull off an 800 in Lit, kudos to you and go for it.

NO reason to have to; Scores are fine.
Can go standby, my D has done ACT standby, SAT I standby, and SAT IIs standby.
Can also do January.
Lots of available options.

Spend the time on your essays. Don’t worry about any more SAT IIs. If your current scores will not get you in then an 800 on a third SAT will not either. It means that there was some other reason that they chose not to admit you. Good luck.

Agree with smoda. 800 on a third SAT will not change your chances of admission.
