This International Student Would Really Like To Go To Baker College

<p>just kidding,
I'm applying to Brown PLME.</p>

<p>If brown rejects me, I'll applying to UofMichigan, Duke, Princeton, and Canadian schools (ie. McGill and McMaster)
If worst comes to worst, I guess i can always be a stripper.</p>

<p>female, asian-canadian (i live in a town no one's ever heard of)
Rank: top 1% (2nd in class of 310)
Average: 94.9% last year, valedictorian had 95.0%
(large public school, no special classes like IB/AP offered, however i did self-study AP bio last year and got 5, and i completed a gifted grade 11 math credit)</p>

<p>i have an individual education plan but i don't think that matters</p>

1st try: 2190
730 reading
690 writing
770 math</p>

<p>2nd try: 2250
800 writing
720 math (somehow, my math score dropped 50)
730 reading</p>

800 math 2
750 bio E</p>

<p>extracurriculars/volunteer:</p>

<p>-co-pres of multicultural club
-hospital volunteer (about 100 hours)
-peer tutor (30 hours)
-on a few student board, enrichment, etc. committees
-leader for odyssey of the mind team (1st in ontario)
-junior director for community multicultural associations, and i also choreograph/dance/sing for charity events (80 hours)
-organize workshops for younger students and students from other schools
-concert level pianist/violinist, many awards (blah so typical, might just delete that completely)
-competitive cheerleading (1st in canada 2 years ago)
-figure skating coach, used to do ice-skating as well
-accomplished artist (submitting a visual art supplement - PM me if you'd like to see some slides)</p>

<p>Financial aid: I probably won't apply for FAid at Brown PLME because i can afford it and i really want to go there.
how much would it help my chances if i don't apply for FAid?</p>
