Hey guys~!
Okay I'm a sophomore now but when I was a freshman I took the SAT II Math Level 2.
I got a 790 on it and I know it's a GREAT score and I shouldn't feel bad about it but I have no idea if my dream school, MIT, sees a 790 and an 800 as a big difference or not.
Should I retake it if I know I can do better and aim for an 800 or is is not worth the money and 790 is just as good?
Any replies would be great~
Thank you~!

Congrats on that 790! I personally think you’re fine with the 790, but if you really want to get that 800, go ahead. Can I ask what you did to prepare for it? I took the test in January and got a 710 and I want a score in the upper 700s. If you have any tips/advice, that would be appreciated.

It’s MIT. Neither score would impress them in the slightest.

I got a 780 and I’m also applying to MIT. Upper class-men told me to not worry about it because they will see if I take it again and it won’t look good.

Thanks a lot for the compliments!
Ummm I didn’t really prepare… I think my Precalculus/Trig class did a pretty good job preparing me for the SAT Math Level II
The thing I regret not studying though was matrices… I think that’s what caused me to get that 790…
A website said that the SAT Math Level II barely had matrices in it but the last question on the exam was a matrices exam -.-
Oh well~

Yeah I know
I just wondered whether it’s worth it or not :P

Ohhh really? Hmmm… okay then!
I might just stay with my 790 then~
