I am extremely confused as to what date the scores will come out for the September ACT. If I pay the 8 dollars, what date can I view my scores? I remember reading something about getting scores within 10 days of taking the test by paying 8 dollars, but I'm not sure if that is correct. Someone please let me know, thanks! :)

nope, oct 2-4 online, 6-7 weeks in mail after the test

So to view them October 2-4 I have to pay 8 dollars? That's lame... so I guess I won't be able to see what score I received on the September ACT and then sign up for the October ACT for a retake accordingly. :( Whatever, I'm just going to sign up for a retake now... it won't hurt me to retake.

"Most multiple-choice scores are added to ACT's computer files within 2 1/2 weeks after each national test date."

So October 2-3 ish, I think.

no its free on oct 2-4 just logon to ur actstudent.org acc

there is something else, like 8-10 days after the test. but IMO it's not worth it 8 extra dollars. just stop worrying and check when it comes out

"Beginning 2007–2008, if you have a student Web account you may view your scores online at no charge as soon as your multiple-choice scores from a national or international test date are available for reporting.

If you took the optional Writing Test, your writing scores will be added as soon as they become available, normally about two weeks later."

...Directly from ACT website. No fee. No way to hurry up the actual scoring of your test.

You may be thinking of the AP test, where you can call them and pay $8 to receive your scores over the phone about 2 wks before you get them in the mail.

arent the scores in the mail, without writing, after about 3 weeks?

Actually, the ACT did charge $8 to view them early. However since they now have (just this year) moved all their operations online, you can view them for free on October 2nd!

Man, I wish they had made it free last year...

But I still think the $8 I spent was worth it.

OMG, I didn't know they stopped the $8 charge. Suh-weet!

They stopped the charge yeahallie but they also stopped the early viewing and so you cannot see your scores until 2.5 weeks after the test date. It's free then, but that is not any different than before cuz online scores would become free last year after a couple weeks or so. IMO i would rather have paid 8 bucks to see them early than wait a longe rtime for free.
