This talk about Northwestern intrigues me.

I tried searching up some info. on Northwestern.

Sounds like a pretty good school, though for some reason, College Board does not reveal the percentage of applicants admitted per year.

Can anyone provide me with this information?

30% of applicants admitted....

ps: I got this from the CB website. I think you may have looked over it or something.

Try the Northwestern forum in the colleges section here. Apps were up 19.1% for this year.
Also, this page may help: http://www.ugadm.northwestern.edu/freshman/facts/#application

And, yes, it is "a pretty good school".

Thank you.

For some reason, the last time I searched Northwestern, I got that profile, but not the percentage. How odd.

Are you interested in attending Northwestern?

Oh, nevermind. Your daddy owns Harvard. :P

Thank you, 2cakes. That page looks quite informative, indeed.

I took a student tour at Northwestern (though I was the youngest one there), and it looked like a great school. If you're interested in a variety of classes, with most tending toward the smaller end based on college standards, I would highly recommend it. I wasn't personally a big fan of the setting, being right within a bustling town, but if you like activity, and the outstanding access to Chicago, make sure you give the school a look. What I found interesting was that not all of the athletics/sports fields were directly on-campus... I believe there was a bus taking students to a football field a mile or so away. The library looked gorgeous, but I wasn't a big fan of the dining area (it felt like the 70's with cheap wood panneling, etc.). Overall, "a pretty good school", in terms of acceptance rates, academics, and facilities.

I visited quite recently. Feel free to PM me.
