<p>English - Normal difficulty. Personally, I think the "where should paragraph go" questions were easier than usual, grammar wise, it had some tricks.</p>

<p>Math - Obscenely easy - I've taken this test several times, never finished 15 minutes early before.</p>

<p>Reading - Normal/Slightly easy</p>

<p>Science - Seems like the perfectly average science section. Some confusing sections, and a normal rush on time.</p>

<p>That's all... I've taken this a few times.</p>

<p>Science was a total nightmare. I lost my motivation to do well by the time I got to the writing portion.</p>

<p>English and math were easy, especially English.</p>

<p>Reading just seemed average to me.</p>

<p>Well the thing is I rocked the science section in every practice test I ever took, never below a 34, but this one was rough.</p>

<p>I agree with qwerty, once the Science section was starting to wrap up, I REALLY lost my motivation to do well on the test and my essay. When I started skimming to find an experiment I actually understood WELL, and couldn’t find one, I resorted to guessing and I just felt like total crap when the test was over. Other science sections were MUCH easier than THAT one we got, I mean the October one was really easy to me.</p>

<p>There were a fair amount of math questions that I guessed on, only like 6 or so, but still.
However, math really is not my strong suit.</p>

<p>English is always easy for me, last time I got a perfect score on the grammar bit. I didn’t feel this one was any harder or easier.</p>

<p>Reading was fair. I know how to read, but that comprehension stuff is always wacky. I always overthink it.</p>

<p>Science seemed MUCH easier than the September 2009 test that I had taken. But everyone is complaining about how difficult it was, which makes me think that I was being dumb about it.</p>

<p>So I really don’t know how I did. I just want to break a 30 composite this time.</p>

<p>English: Fairly easy, but some tricks here and there
Math: easy
Reading: Average, just like any other ACT reading portion
Science: Um…Kinda lost my motivation…was hard
Essay: Useless prompt</p>

<p>So, overall, it was average.</p>

NO WRITING.</p>

<p>English and Reading are always really easy to me. Math, however, has never been my strong suit and I have had to study very hard to do well on that portion of the test. It seemed as though this ACT avoided many of the math subjects that I have been studying though. Needless to say, I was a little frustrated. As for the Science section, my issue has always been the timing. I’m used to the questions being fairly simple, so I decided that this time around I would speed things up a bit and maybe sacrifice a couple of correct answers to finish the entire test. I picked up the pace this time around, but I was unlucky enough to get one of the hardest science tests that I’ve seen. It’s really anyone’s guess as to how I did on the Math and Science sections. I surprised myself last time, so I’m hoping that I pull through again this time.</p>

<p>gotta disagree. an easy science section in my opinion. looking at posts from last year’s test, most everyone from science thought it was easy and scored high, on science, as well as all composites. p.s. what other sciences have you seen that were easier than this last one??</p>

<p>I’ve taken it 5 times and this time was one of the harder ones (tho not the hardest I would say)</p>

<p>did not feel that way. what made it so “horrible.” looking back at some posts here, it seems that everyone thought the last test (oct 09) had a hard science, and yet the scores reported for oct. science seem to be very high. but what makes no sense is that the posts also show what people call a real “easy” science section back in oct 08. So I think there are many that thought this science was easy. anyway, my opinion, like a few others here, is that dec. 09 science was easy. in the end , it really makes no difference, the curve for any act section never varies by more than a point, or two at most. The section was either hard or easy; just depends on the person. my feeling is that the last science section was easy. there are even a few on this page who say the same thing. just my opinion. wishing everyone good luck.</p>
