"This Year's University Of Chicago Scavenger Hunt Show Why American Universities Rule The World"

The linked article from the Business Insider is a fun read. And your thoughts?

http://www.businessinsider.com/university-of-chicago-2014-scavenger-hunt-2014-5

This article, and the comments at the bottom, is perhaps even better:

http://gawker.com/the-university-of-chicagos-weird-as-hell-scav-is-unde-1574711090

Again, the comments may be the best part, disparaging as they are (“UChicago kids are f***ing freaks.”)

I’m on the fence at times about scav hunt, but generally I frown upon it. I’m not sure if the signature non-academic event on campus should be known for being “weird as hell.”

Cue, this is a headline in the gawker. No need to take it so seriously.

I didn’t find the comment section all that interesting. It turned into a Michigan vs. Northwestern flame war pretty quickly. One can find better threads of that ilk on cc.

^^Thanks for sharing the link. I enjoyed the article and the comments as well.
