<p>Can anyone provide room dimensions for a single in Thompson? Last year I called the housing office for the dimensions of my kid's single in Simmons. The dimensions I got were so far off that the rug he bought ended up having to go back home. His room was extremely long and very narrow, a really odd size, with built-ins that made it even narrower. I'm hoping the rug from last year will be useable this year.</p>

<p>Thanks lil_killer129- I should have gone another step ! Neonzeus, my D lived there last year in a single. The rug we bought was a tad wide but we tucked it under the bed risers and it was fine. I think it depends where you place the bed: under the window, horizontally or along the wall across from the built in dresser/mirror. I called West Halls last year and spoke to someone who gave me good information. If you have a room number let them know.</p>
<p>I tried calling the housing office again. They were very nice, but didn't have dimensions for a single in this building. They gave me the dimensions for a single in one of the other West dorms, which sounded exactly like the single dimensions in East last year....very, very long and narrow especially when you deduct the built-ins. Here we go again....probably going to get two 5 X 7 rugs again.</p>
