Those accepted into University of Minnesota- Twin Cities, any application tips?

For those that have been accepted into University of Minnesota- Twin cities are there any application tips? Like the box where they ask for special circumstances, other box ask: other special talents, honors, achievements, awards, or activities that don't fit above. Application tips would be helpful.

If you are not a sure thing by numbers, than you should use those boxes to let admissions know you better. I put in the box = See Statement sent with counselor report. I than had by counselor send in my essays with my transcripts.

I did not know the university ask for essays.

They don’t ask for essays. However there are two spots in the application where you can fill in more information if you want. The amount of characters they say you can use is about 500 words. So although you don’t have to it makes sense if you are not a clear cut yes.

^
Right, I plan to write in those boxes… would be very helpful.
