those of u who took the march SATs

Were the march SATs like the new Collegeboard 8 SAT practice exams or was it easier/harder? And what was the best prep book in your opinion for the SATs?

They were on par with the blue book. Math was maybe a little bit more "reasoning"/harder but it was about right.

I only used the 8 SATs and PR's 10 SATs. They're both good.

Yeah the test was basically like the 8 practice SATs...they altered the reading section a bit. The first critical reading section will be 25 questions in 25 minutes. Then they shaved a question off of the section with two reading passages (so 23 questions in 25 minutes). Otherwise in terms of content I found them more or less similar. The best prep book is probably that collegeboard book for practice tests. Hmm... I like Barrons for the other stuff... Princeton is alright also.

In my opinion, the Princeton Review 10 SAT book has much easier questions than the actual test.

I thought that critical reading was much harder on the real thing compared to average difficulty on all 8 practice tests. Math was slightly harder. Writing was about the same.
