Those of you into MT and also who happen to be in NYC today....

one of my kids is in college in the atlanta area and last summer I flew to see her and ended up seeing a musical called The Prom which was being tried out in Atlanta before moving to broadway. So it was amazing…and even though I know about 1/10 of what all of you know about theatre, i know enough to know that it was great.

Anyway, previews start TONIGHT in nyc at the longacre…rush tickets available…i plan to take the train in in a few weeks to catch a performance but I thought those of you who like to see something first would appreciate this heads up.

and one more thing I’ll mention…the pedigree on this play is amazing.
Music by Matthew Sklar (the wedding singer. and Elf) lyrics by Chad Beguelin (Aladdin) and the book by Beguelin and Bob Martin (the drowsy chaperone) plus, directed by Casey Nicholaw (book of mormon) and design by Scott Peck (book of mormon). So yeah, it’s going to be great.
