I applied UCD, UCSD and UCLA. Since I got rejected by UCD because of not having 90 units before spring, so I am wondering if anyone is similar to my case.

GPA: 3.38
Major: Psych
From: Washington state
Applied: UCD UCSD UCLA
Rejected: UCD
Pending: UCSD UCLA

Since I got rejected by UCD, it seems like I would not get in neither UCSD nor UCLA. I am going to appeal anyway, but before the results are out, I really want to know which schools in CA still accept international students for FALL 2011 and WIN 2012 with 90 credits before summer.

For those who got rejected to their dream schools, do you have any backups or other plans?

Thats my problem too. If i dont get in davis after appeal, i will probably go to CC in san fran state. But that would be the worst scenarios. So I am trying to look for any university still accept international students during fall and winter

What type of universities are you looking for? Just UCs? Private universities in CA as well? UC Merced does a “Count Me In Too” program, where they accept students from a “referral” pool. I don’t know if they do it for transfer students too, but you might want to take a look at it: [Frequently Asked Questions for “Count Me In Too” | Admissions](http://admissions.ucmerced.edu/countmeintoofaq)

As far as other schools in CA that are still accepting students, this was posted on AskMsSun’s lj last year: [Ms. Sun’s UC Admissions Blog - Colleges that are Still Accepting Applications](Error). There will probably be something similar this year, you just have to wait.

Oh! I forgot to add that if you are interested in attending a cal state, then most have an open enrollment program that lets you enroll in classes at the school without actually being a student. UCs have this as well. Keep in mind, however, these classes will be costly and no matter how many classes you take through this program, you cannot graduate with a degree from the school.

Why do you want to transfer to a school in CA? What about University of Washington? That seems like a great school. I was going to apply there, but did not fill out the app in time.

UCLA for psychology isn’t that great xjennifer. Also, you will probably have the same job prospects no matter where you go, unless you get into some top-tier private school. Also, everyone gets over the fact that you went to UCLA pretty quickly unless they are Korean, then in that case you are a model student and fit to marry their sons/daughters.

That’s weird. I only have 81 units on my academic record so far (after spring semester is over, I’ll have 90), but I got accepted. o.o How many units do you have now?

I disagree that the psychology at UCLA “isn’t that great” and I couldn’t care less that people “get over the fact that I went to UCLA pretty quickly.” I appreciate your opinion but I have a lot of other reasons for wanting to attend UCLA. Fortunately, I just got in! Yay! :D

I’m still waiting on UCI, losing hope. It’s my #1 choice, would be devastated if I didn’t get in. REALLY, REALLY want to get in. But I accept that it’s unrealistic now. :

same here! i only have a 3.09 gpa so i’m freaking out even more right now i’m calling admissions right now to see what’s up! let’s hope they’re just backlogged.

sorry for the late reply guys, i just went to a nap LOL

UPDATE
REJECTED: UCLA UCD

actually, i got only 80 quarter units after spring, but I am going to take the rest of it during summer.

and here might be some good news for some of you:
i just called both san fran state u and san jose state u, they are still enrolling students for FALL2011!!! so move your ass and apply one of them! FYI san jose state u is pretty good in state!
