those who took the test today...what composite score would you be happy with?

36 - Meh.
35 - Meh. (Goal)
34 - Damn.

You must be the person who got a perfect 2500 on their SAT. /sarcasm

Nope. I just know that I need higher test scores and that even a 36 won’t be good enough to instantly get me into the colleges I want to get into.

34 is my goal

32 or 33 for me.

at this point, i am just dissapointed about how I did today…fail.

anyway, heres my prediction, optimistic and pessimistic

Pessimistic:
Math:35
Science:33
Reading:idk, Got a 32 last time
English:idk, 30?

Composite: 32.5=33

Optimistic
Math:35
Science:35
Reading:idk
English:32

Composite (assuming 32 reading): 33.5=34

Basically, 32= ■■■, 33= decent but consider another time, 34= yay, anything higher than 34= woot? anything lower than 32: I’ll just pretend I didn’t see that, 10 sec later…smash computer.
Composite:

36 - Really happy
35 - Stoked
34 - Not disappointed
33 - bummed
32 - ****

I got a 33 my 1st time and have studied a lot since then, so I would feel like I wasted a ton of time if I got a 33 again

I received a 33 on my previous test. I think I raised my score in each section, so I’m hoping for at least a 34. A 35 would make me jump for joy, but I’m just hoping for a 34 at this point.

Mine’s exactly like BabyRudy. I got a 31 last time.

31:NOOOOo
32: So close…yet so far :frowning:
33: YES!!

30-33 should do it hopefully…

36: Not with my performance on Reading
35: Nice
34: Seems right
33: Still happy
32: Angry and/or frown face

you guys are ridiculously good test takers…

36: Not even a possibility
35: no way
34: WOW, I’m amazed
33: SUPER DUPER
32: ok, ok, I’ll take it
31: waste of my time b/c this is what my SAT converts to

Bahaha, I’m such an underachiever in this thread. I would be terribly happy with a 30+, seeing as I got a 28 on my last ACT. Realistically, I feel like I’ll get a 31.

I would be good with a 32 and happy with a 33+. I got a 28.25 my first time and then a 31.25 my second. I plan on going to Ohio State for college and in order to be invited to compete for the highest scholarships they give out, one needs to be in the top 3% of their class and have a 32+ act or 1400+ math/critical reading SAT. I meet the top 3% of class requirement, but only have a 31 for the ACT.

While I will be disappointed if I don’t score a 32+, I guess I should still be happy with the 31 I achieved last time because it is still a pretty respectable score…Almost everybody I know irl has scored anywhere from 20-26 on previous tests, so I can’t imagine how nervous they were considering they all had fairly mediocre scores and this was their last time taking it. It amazes me how bad of test takers some legitimately smart people are. I know lots of 4.0+ GPA people at my school who can’t even score a 26 on the ACT.

^well good grades don’t necessarily translate to intelligence.

I would be happy with 34 but it seems like im on the border of 33 and 34. So all i can do is pray at this time. And if i get a 33, I’ll try for real in october, and i’ll dominate the ACT’s, with a 35 or something

My goal is 33, but I’m slowly accepting the idea of a 32.

If I get a 33+ on the ACT, I will burn all of my ACT books and papers in a city-wide bonfire. If I get a 36 on reading, I won’t read another book for the rest of my life.
