What do people generally do if they wanted to major/minor in a different field from their major but don't have the necessarily time to fulfill it (since they're near graduation)?

If you're curious: I'm currently a double major in Social Policy and African American Studies. I wish I could add another major/minor in History.

If you are really passionate about another subject, and you feel that you can handle the work, than I would say go for it, if your schools allows you to do that. I am a Political Science and Pan African Studies double major, who is thinking about a possible minor in Philosophy or Economics, although I won't probadly do it for the simple fact that I want to graduate in four years.

I believe we talked earlier, like two years ago,.... I hope your studies are going well. Feel free to e-mail me sometimes. I am interested in talking to other African-American/Black Studies majors.

I'm currently updating my Black History Month site. No one here on campus knows about it, but I'm very passionate about it:

Yeah, I want to add a major/minor in history just because I love exploring the past. I think it would also help if I want to attend graduate school to have a basic grasp of American history (since I want to do my research interests on U.S. social/cultural history or sociology).

wonderful website, tenisghs.

Yes good website, also I think we have spoken before. While maybe I am putting too much into it, I am surprised you dont feel you have a basic grasp of american history. FIrst, I imagine you know more than you think... ALso generally, (as a 40something adult) I would generally recommend a graduate degree rather than piling on undergrad degrees .. like get a MS in History then evaluate.
