Thoughts on Blueprint Business Programs

Another member of CC turned me on to programs offered by Blueprint at colleges including George Washington, Lehigh, UVA and Stone Hill College. I was wondering if this program is worth $2,400 or if anyone knows of similarly priced programs. Thanks,

Hi Quinn,
As a former Blueprint student, I would highly suggest this program. I attended the program at Stonehill College, and although I did not take the business course, I took the psychology class, which was equally amazing. From what I have been told, the business course is not only very educational and fulfilling, but also very fun. Topics covered in the course include marketing, management, advertising, entrepreneurship, starting and running your own business, and even creating a commercial for a product that the class comes up with as a whole. The teacher is incredibly qualified for the position. He is very professional, knowledgeable, and even owns and runs his own business! Dave is probably one of the nicest and funniest people I have ever met. As for the rest of the program, when the students are not in class, there are always planned activities and fun field trips. During my year, we went to Six Flags New England and Boston. During down time, activities such as kickball, water balloon fights, and even trips to the local ice cream parlor are planned. As for your question whether the program is worth the cost, I would have to say that it’s worth every penny. Blueprint has the fun of a summer camp but also prepares you for college, both in the classroom and out. If you wish to learn more about the program I will post a link to the website.

Best of luck with your decision!
