Thoughts on getting into Dartmouth ED?!?!?!

I'd like your opinions on getting into Dartmouth early decision please! I'm concerned about my ECs because I've been involved with the same 3 or 4 for many years but they aren't very unusual. Thoughts?

i personally owuldnt go to darhmount bc of the location. i cant c myself there. check it out beofre you make a decision.

your ACT score is amazing! i'm thinking about applying to dartmouth too, maybe not ED, but i really like the school.

i think it's SLIGHTLY easier to get in through ED...i think you have solid stats.

then again, i'm in the same boat as you and i'm worried about college too.

I think you have a good shot. Your grades are great, your scores are great, and your ECs are great. Don't worry that they're not "very unusual"; that doesn't matter. The fact that you've done them for a long time shows commitment, and the fact that you're a leader in several of them shows -- uh -- that you're a leader.

Good shot.

I have visited Dartmouth and I love the town and campus. I come from a small town that looks similar to Hanover so I know I will be comforted by that if I get homesick. I have already sent in my ED agreement because I know it is the right school for me, but I am worried if I my essay is enough to set myself apart due to my lack of original ECs. Any other opinions????

Dartmouth is awesome! Seriously I think people who discount it for location don't understand what college is about. 4500 amazingly brilliant people in a resort like location tend to find some pretty awesome ways to have fun. On weekends its more active than many cities.
