Thoughts on my junior year schedule?

Currently, my schedule looks like this

  1. AP physics
  2. pre calc honors
  3. accounting II honors
  4. AP english
  5. lunch
  6. APUSH
  7. italian 4 honors
  8. study hall OR AP psych
  9. I'm thinking of changing my science from ap physics to ap environmental science because I heard this class is terribly hard and I don't like science anyway. I want to go major in business so would taking APES really hurt my chances?
  10. I'm taking online PE instead of having it during the day at school, which frees up a slot for me. Since junior year is really stressful I thought it'd be a good idea to take a study hall to get work done but everyone is advising me against it for whatever reason. Thoughts?

Thank you

I don’t think you need to take AP Psych if you don’t want to. It’s okay to have a free period. However, have you taken physics before? Because if not, you should stick with AP Physics instead of Envo Science. For any competitive schools, one year of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics is a must.

No I’ve never taken physics before, but I took honors bio freshman year and am currently taking honors chem as a sophomore. Do all three years of bio/chem/physics need to be honors/AP?

APES is a pointless class, especially for business majors (not unlike physics.) AP is unnecessary, but physics is a must in high school, so I’d say drop down to honors physics if possible. AP Psych is an interesting topic, but it’d be a good option to save for senior year as a cushiony class (of course depending on the teacher.) You already have 6 decently high level academic classes, so study hall may be advantageous.
