I am going to be a junior next year and I’m planning/thinking about taking a couple AP classes. I think I have an interest in taking AP Environmental Science & AP Psychology. First off, I want some thoughts from a few people who have taken these, I have heard they are rather on the easy side for AP classes but I would like some thoughts as to how you did in the class or what you thought of it. Were they challenging or easy to you? I have heard AP Psych comes with a lot of note taking which I don’t mind too.
I’m currently taking AP Psych. It’s a lot of work, but the actual AP Exam shouldn’t be too difficult. Many students get 5’s with just a copy of a review book. The same goes with Environmental. Both exams are on the easier side of AP tests (but you still have to know the information).
My grade in AP Psych is currently a 97.6%. If you do the homework and prepare for the tests, you should do fine. Good luck!
Also, psychology is actually one of the more interesting AP courses. It shouldn’t be hard to find yourself fascinated at the things you learn!
I took AP environmental last year. It was a really interesting and relevant class. Not too difficult, but not as easy as you might expect!
They are considered some of the easier AP classes. I know a few people who have self-studied for the AP Psych test and received 5’s.
