Does anyone know the chance of being called for a NJMS interview once your are forwarded? Also when would we get a rejection letter if we dont move on.
Yes I did
My student has not shared their feedback other than it went well.
No idea what was asked.
Based on past interviews, NJMS interviews are usually a low-stress conversational interview. There have been tough interviewers but generally, the tone is cordial.
Hope this helps.
Rejection letters come from your undergrad feeder school.
Your chance increases if multiple feeder schools forward your application.
My D just got an email that sheâs been selected to interview at NJMS, but it doesnât say which undergrad school itâs for. She applied to both TCNJâs and Rutgersâ program which are both combined with NJMS and did first round interviews for both. She got an email from TCNJ saying that her application was forwarded to NJMS but didnât receive any news from Rutgers-Newark saying so, so we initially thought the NJMS interview email was for TCNJ. But seeing that they didnât specify that it was for TCNJ, could it be for Rutgers?
My daughter got an email that her application has been forwarded to NJMS. Does NJMS make a decision on who to interview? Does it filter students?
Yes. NJMS decides on who to interview, so getting your application forwarded to NJMS doesnât necessarily mean that you will get interviewed.
Do you know any stats? Like will most forwarded people get an interview?
Did she also get an undergraduate decision? (not the med scholars one)
Did you also get an undergraduate decision? (not the medical scholars one)
Yeah I received my UG acceptance to SLU yesterday
How did they send the decision?
email or portal?
How does it matter?
Post-NJMS interview, if selected, you will have the option to select the feeder school you want.
NJMS does filter the candidates it wants to interview.
Got it. Thank you!
I got my UG acceptance through email
Congratulations
