This you do it even for so called Guaranteed BSMD
before the final year so not different but you are right.

To be clear
I am NOT minimizing the interview  but i am saying it’s usual stuff.

The reason being , if you apply “outside” SLC , then your guaranteed spot (interview/admission) goes out
so i think it’s kind of “all set already as they know for 4 years anyway”

is the interview for Rutgers or for Rowan DO school of medicine?

did anyone hear from Upstate or AMC for interview invites in last two weeks?

Nearly all Guaranteed BSMD programs require a certain min GPA, some require min MCAT score. Off these, some programs require interview in the Sophomore year/Junior year (such as FAU, Drexel, Temple, SLU so on). Some of the programs have typical BSMD and Early Assurance Program characteristics (or requirements), so one must check and understand these reqs before accepting the offer.

Does anyone know how many interviews URochester REMS sends out?

Re: Rutgers-Rowan BS DO

It’s a two step process
First interview is with UG to determine who gets forwarded to Rowan
Second interview is with Rowan

JOINT BS / DO PROGRAM | Rutgers-Camden Career Center

I have been seeing more BSDO applicants in this cycle on CC, when compared to the previous cycle. Just an observation. Seniors - thoughts?

Upstate “hold for comparison”. Nothing after that

How many are accepted if you know?

At least more BS/DO applicants on this forum.
