If anyone has been accepted into the Brooklyn BA-MD program, please PM me. I have a few questions about signing up for courses, housing, etc.
Got waitlisted too. Idk how to feel about this lol.
from hofstra
Did Hofstra make all calls already?
Thank you
Thanks for the depth of details and efforts put into this. Just wondering if this represents all the US medical schools? Because I don’t see a school like Howard College of Medicine on it though they have a sizable number of students matching into DOPEN each cycle

Did anyone hear back from FAU?
I did not get a call from hofstra. I found out that decisions were released on people’s portals so I checked mine. On the waitlist form for me it says that “all offers of admission into our direct-entry BS-BA/MD Program have been released”
I believe the original author in the Student forum didn’t include all the data.
My guess there was no centralized data.
With that said… this is how i am reading the tea leaves
If your kid wants AAA as specialty and if College A consistently sending 7% of it’s students compared to College B output of 1% in that speciality … then that’s an added PLUS apart from rest of the criteria that are used to narrow ( Yes , I know that kids are given choice 1, 2,3 etc.,for matching and you never know the exact order).
As i said, in an earlier post, though i saw many “traditional/reputed/research” active in those specialty like CASE, Stanford, Vanderbilt etc., I was surprised to see few like SUNY, VCU, StonyBrook too (which means IMO, u have a shot at those specialty …that’s all)…
Again we can stretch data anyway (we want) and my interpretation maybe 100% wrong too LOL
Hey! What are your questions?
Thanks for the info. Rali_Jan.
I know, I want an Internal medicine/Pediatrics residency. What is your opinion on a BSDO program with excellent residency match for it?. I know BSMD will work as well (and will make a decision soon), but have heard from several folks that the DO route is equally good for Internal medicine as there could be added advantages. The cost to me for both the programs would be almost similar, but DO could be a bit relaxed. Would like to seek you suggestion.
Is there a BSMD results thread created for the Fall 2022 cycle?
Not yet.
I will set it up soemtime next week.
Nope. Still waiting. Someone in this forum earlier mentioned his friend got acceptance.
Remember interests change when exposed to newer things.
If you have a BS/MD acceptance, think and evaluate your options twice before rejecting it in favor of BS/DO.
Has anybody hear anything from Rutgers 4 plus 4 program?
not yet. Have not heard anything yet from them. Not sure what the timelines are to get an invitation to apply.
Has anyone who interviewed for the UAB bs/md heard back?
same here. I’m partially not surprised by the outcome because many of the other applicants were incredibly outstanding, but I also felt my interviews had gone very well. waitlist is better than rejection at least!
