Experts next stage for Pitt B S MD Long back they had the stats and not sure if anyone has the seen the latest stats on Upitt BS MD acceptance:
- percentage of student who are eligible to apply for BS MD out of all undergrad Pitt application
- Percentage of eligible who choose the B S MD option
- Percentage who get selected to next stage to apply (We are here now with elimination)
- Percentage who get interview
- Percentage which are selected after interview
Can I assume overall acceptance is close to 5 percent still a long way to go. ?
Yes. Sophie Davis does accept students from outside of New York. They also accept students from over-represented minorities.
This is what I read from some other forums … About 2000-3000 apply for Pitt GAP BSMD … around 400ish get chosen for additional info/supplements … eventually 33 get interviews and 12-15 are offered… Using these numbers …percentage of acceptance is about 1%

GAP Application Stats:
About 1500 apply,
400-600 get forwarded to medical school,
40-50 get invited for interview;
5 - 20 get selected. No waitlist.

Thank you, Case and Syracuse & SLU are today , so we are late , also less that 1% chance I guess to these , Augusta is instate preference and so is Cincinnati I guess

Nah I, myself, got the RPI supplemental application but they send it out in waves. It was an email sent

have penn state or rutgers released next step info? i think they were supposed to come dec. 1
