Thread for the Rejected Ones

Alas, fellow mourners.

First, congratulations to those how made it, all 64 of you You guys are no doubt a ridiculously talented and amazing group of kids.

For the rest of us (926), I suppose this is just a bit of space to vent a bit.

Do not forget that we're pretty cool kids too. In my case, even though Olin one of my favorites, I know that I also have a lot of other options; no doubt you guys like me have also had a lot of doors open to you.

No matter where I end up, I'll probably keep an eye on Olin from time to time, just to see how this crazy Olin thing works out. But hey, a decent engineering education is still available at many universities.

I would be willing to bet that most students who applied were just as or almost as fantastic as the accepted ones, and that any applicant to Olin has a good shot somewhere else.

Once again, congrats to all in, and for those (the vast majority, mind you) like me, I urge you all to keep your head and hopes up, wherever this crazy college process may take you/me/us!

With 64 spots to fill, they probably invited 120+ to CW. There will be another cut after CW, with more celebration and mourning to come.
