Thursday 12/12 After 5:00 pm

hahahhaha wait can someone actually clarify this for me and what it might mean:“we will provide some admissions decisions only online, not via regular mail.”

???

I’m sorry, but I can’t help commenting… How difficult is it to draft a heading that is so important to so many without a key typo? I don’t understand the sloppiness of youth…

Aaah I have a scholarship interview at about the same time decisions are released. I’m going to be so crazyyy

@ thebeef

Thanks, that makes me feel good : )

I’m leading a club from 3:15 to 5:00 with sakahn! We’re gonna buy a ton of food, go back to school (or something), then check together. SCARED!

i have a math team meet. haha

I have a freaking field trip and I’ll be back at 6. Dammit…

Does anyone know if those who live in NYC get the decision letter the same day as they post it on the web?

It would be great IF I got in and saw the DHL package before the email. Ha!

which school do you go to hahaiwin?

i’m still confused as to why some people are being notified via mail while everyone else will find their decisions online…

also, i have effing rehearsal on thursday afternoon. this already happened on monday when i was expecting the e-mail and i assure you, it was excruciating to be unable to get off the stage! ughhhhhh thursday is going to be awful, i might kill my director during rehearsal HAHA

Most likely what they mean by some decisions won’t be mailed is that if you didn’t apply online, or if you got accepted, then they would mail the decision. I’m guessing?

My heart nearly stopped when I first saw this email. At first I thought it was THE email. But no. Thankfully I don’t have anything important planned for Thursday - I’ll probably end up sitting at my computer from 2 - 5 refreshing the page frantically…
I just can’t believe it’s so close.

hahaiwin…i think (because this is what happened last year, i found an article about it in the spectator) DHL picks up the letters exactly when they are released online, so most likely you will get the letter the next day.

as for some decisions mailed and some not…i’m thinking acceptances/deferrals and people who sent paper apps will get mail but online application-ers’ rejections won’t?? just a hypothesis.
