don't be late to school!

don't whistle on the elevator Biff...

Yay I get my decision letter via email on the 14th :)! I'll be awake throuhout the working hours though it'l be night where I am on vac. Darn i cant wait!!!

hey callthecops2 how come you get by email.
is it cuz you are international??
did you email them asking to be emailes??
please tell what you did. i am internation too. i emailed them but they never replied. could you tell me what your email's subject and text was.
thank you.

Eeeek, good luck, the stress must be unbearable. I know it's virtually killing me. I mean, my brain's telling me "your chances are slim to none", but my heart's telling me to keep on hoping.

^ same here

tanis...Princeton just loves me - they have replied to all 10 emails I've sent them over the past few months, within a day each :p

I just mailed them saying that I am vacation (its true - i wont be able to attend to any mail till into January) so I guess they said they put me in the list of applicants who want decisions via email. Try mailing them again or just wait...they should reply soon :) they cant be so blatantly partial to me ;) jk

Damn. i just emailed them before reading your reply.
i said that i am an international aplicant and so the probelms with that.
do you think they will still add me to that list.
they did answaer my emails in 4-5 hours but i suppose i sent off the last one at friday night. that might have had sometinh to do

OMG! Can domestic students recieve decisions by email too?????? DAMNIT why is Princeton so tricky with all of this?!??!

^ i know. if your goinf to send even one b email you might as well send all. they probably already have it on theri computers. i bet princeton has a 100 capable progrmamer who could make a small python script to automatically check each result and email it. hell i could do that given the time.

I think it's fair for internationals to receive decision by email. There will be just little difference between the day you receive email and the day you receive the envelope for the domestics is quite small. For international, the difference can be up to 5 days. :o

"Dear Steve --

Our primary mode of communicating our decisions is by mail, however for international students we are able to email decisions as well. We certainly understand the need for speedy notification and the unreliable nature of post in some areas of the world. Since the email below was sent from your application's email account, it may serve as a request. Your request will be put in queue so that you will receive an email response when we are able to release them. This will happen on Wednesday, December 14th."

This was the e-mail I got from Princeton. It took about 3 days to get a reply. :p Anyway, my guess is e-mail is for only internationals.

..or even more, if we're deferred/rejected.

^^so does that mean all internationals are already on that list. oh well i don't care i have already sent them an email. hope to get mine tommorw.

Maybe the title of their e-mail decision is like this

"Princeton University's ED Decision: Click to find out your ED status!"

So it won't spoil the students before they open them :p

hahahahaha.
wanna her sometinh funny.
i just sent them an email to request my decision bieng sent by email.
and just now they replied to my old mail. EXACTly 3 days later.
i suppose my new probbly bumped up my old mail.
i got this

tanis, I think Princeton Computer Scientist finally created a program that would send this e-mail automatically to all international students :p Is it just coincidence that we sent the mail to Princeton at the same day and received on the same day?
