On my TI 84 plus graphing calculator under GRAPH, it has boxes that says Shades, PoI-Trace and ?. These appear under the graph. How do I get rid of these?

I don't know how to do so specifically, but you could erase the whole memory if you don't have anything of value saved (eg: class notes, et cetera.) That would probably rid of it.

thanks. its okay, I figured it out. it was due to the inequalz app running and when I closed that, it solved the problem.

Oh, wait. I think you may have a program running that's doing that. Go to APPS, and if you have the INEQUALZ program (which comes preloaded), select it. If it gives you the options to continue the program or quit, quit out of it and that should fix it.

ah well, beat me by a second darn it.

I've been having the same problem for months. ThanksQ!

While we're on this topic, does anyone know how to make an x= graph using the Inequalz app? Several people at school have asked me and I have no idea. The problem is that I don't know what to use for a variable, since it's different from the y= graphs. You can't use the x/theta/etc. key.

bump...
...

cool, I had that problem too! thanks.
