Hi guys. I have two choices. I can either buy a TI-84 through Craigslist for $65. Or I can go to eBay and get an nSpire for $62 + free shipping.

Is there any advantage to getting one calculator over the other?

TI-NSpire is better. However, you can use it in AP tests I think.

However, TI-NSpire is overall a much better graphically and as a calculator.

NSpire. I’m taking AP Calculus and am using the TI-92 [school lends them] and plan on getting the NSpire [pretty much a newer version].

So the NSpire beats the TI-84 hands-down?

^I definitely disagree. NSpire’s user interface is confusing as hell.

^ Confusing because it has much more uses too it. The most confusing ones are the best ones when mastered.
