The TI-83 has the stat pack too though.

I just got one an hour ago! I thought the most widely used one was the 89, but apparently not, since most of my friends got theirs for $120, and mine was $150. Which one is the silver one? Is that an 83?

Anyway, my dad didn't know any better, and I didn't pay for it, so whatever! Can you still play games on the 89, and if so, how do you put them on? :)

not that i know of princess

There are many!

http://www.ticalc.org

Go to the archives and click on Ti 89.
To put them on, you need TiConnect (http://education.ti.com/educationportal/appsdelivery/download/download_interim.jsp?applicationId=183&contentPaneId=7, assuming that you have Windows) and a USB Cable. Then, at the main screen, you type in the name of the game followed by (). The game\program should execute.

you kids and your pre-school toys, pick up a HP Calc. if you think Ti calcs are advanced, you have seen nothing. get an emulator for the HP49 or HP50g, you will see.

the truth is no real engineer or scientist would touch a Ti they are to sketchy.

Thanks Chaos!

yes they are definitely 'to' sketchy, i wish i were a 'true' engineer
