Probably a silly question but .. So 20 minutes between classes are okay right? (if both of the classes are on Foggy Bottom) One is on E st.. and the other K. I heard you can get anywhere on campus in 10-15 minutes, but I didn't know if classes ever run late or how far that actually is..?

So somewhere please put me at ease.. or let me know if it is actually a problem.

Most of my classes are scheduled about 20-25 minutes apart, and they’re all on Foggy Bottom as well. I think we’ll be fine. During CI, I was managing to get from the Marvin Center to Thurston in about 5-10 minutes, and they’re pretty far away from each other (at least it looks that way on the map). No worries :)

As a general rule, 20 minutes is more than fine if you’re not switching campuses, but don’t count on going to Starbucks during that time (this will make more sense, I hope, once you arrive on campus).

Specifically, though, Elliott to K Street is probably just about as far as you can physically go on Foggy Bottom between classes (in terms of distance). Even then, it shouldn’t really take you but about 15 minutes max unless your normal walking speed is akin to a rather slow mosey, if you will. If your class in Elliot runs over somewhat, you may have to book it if you don’t want to be late, but generally speaking, you should be fine. The Foggy Bottom campus really isn’t all that large.
