So, i find that i normally finish the reading and writing sections of the SAT on time but for the math, i usually run out of time and am 1-3 questions from finishing. I know it's definitely the time constraint which kills me, cause if i give myself as much time as i want, i normally get most of the questions right. So, my question is: Is this something that i can study to address, in other words, do people who take practice math SAT tests, get not only better, but faster at finishing them, or am i just an inherently slow math test-taker and there's not much that can be done about it?

I think it depends on what your weakness is - what is it that you think is slowing you down? Is it reading the question and figuring out what to do, not being able to remember how to do certain types of problem?
Regardless though I strongly believe that practice definitely helps.

Two things…

Lots of practice with REAL tests (college board only) will help you to get faster without trying to get faster. If you try to rush, you’ll just introduce silly mistakes. Let practice make you naturally faster as you become more experienced and recognize the common themes in the math.

After you take a practice test, really invest time reviewing your work – not just what you got wrong, but anything that took too long. No sat problem requires more than a minute, so if you are doing anything with long, multi-step procedures, you are missing the easier way for that problem. So review, and post your questions here…

You get about a minute and 15 seconds on each question. The first five should take 30 seconds each or less. The the next ten should take 45 seconds to a minute each. The last five should take you one minute and 30 seconds each. Do this and you are golden!
