Just watched an incredible game with Ronald Acuna getting his 70th steal and has already 40 home runs this season, and making the winning run against the Cubs in the bottom of the 10th!

What are folks thoughts, hopes, expectations for the boys of October (no longer the boys of summer )

My thoughts, hopes, expectations? Well, I’m a Chicago sports fan so that basically always leads to disappointment :(. We’ll see what happens to the Cubs, I think they still have a small chance.

Best of luck to your teams. I can’t even turn my attention to pro football because I’m a Bears fan😩

Yes, Cubs fan here too. Disappointing couple of days for us but we’re still alive in a season that started with low exceptions.

A friend is a diehard Braves fan but lives in NY. She was very smug when both the Yankees and Mets were on the cellar.

Unless the Giants are in the race for the playoffs, I lose all interest in baseball. So I’ve lost all interest in baseball (until next season.)

This is one of the best YouTube videos I have ever seen. A 9-minute montage of various baseball movies that is a must-see if you have seen most of the great movies. It was made 8 years ago, so I am surprised that I haven’t seen it until now. A great primer for the playoffs starting today.
