Time Management and Studying Skills

Hello! I'm a Junior in a public high school in Florida. I have a few questions I want to ask. You don't need to answer all, just the ones you feel like answering or know the answer to.

Here is my schedule first:

• JUNIOR YEAR:

H Anatomy & Physiology
H Chemistry ll
Psychology AP
French ll
Algebra ll
English Language AP
American History AP

My question is on time management and studying skills. Junior year is the most important year in your high school life, and I can't afford to screw up.

Can you give me a [brief] description on the courses that I'm taking? :

• Which should be my first priority to last priority? (How many hours should I spend in this certain subject?)
• Which AP should I put more emphasis in? (Which AP do colleges actually count for credit? My goal is getting straight 3's, but I really want to aim for 5's. I really want to earn a 5 on a AP I know colleges can give you credit for so I can reduce money for college.)
• Which is a more preferable date that I should take the SAT's and ACT's? (SAT: Dec. 1/June 1 or Jan. 26/June 1? ACT: Feb. 9 or April 13? )
• Which SAT ll's should I take? (I will only take two Subject tests on May 4.) Math l/Chemistry or Chemistry/Biology E/M?
• Should I take Pre-Calculus online during the summer? Is it hard? I'm a year behind in math so...
• Any good studying tips?

Please give me opinions! I'm welcomed to all! :) Thank you in Advance ^.^

Actually, most juniors take Algebra II junior year. Some APs are harder for tougher depending on how well they do in that subject area.

Study everyday… If you don’t study everyday, don’t cram. Just read a little each day.
but bullet points:
-They are all First and Last priority. Math, Lang, Science and English are top of list though.
-Depends on your major. I would take them all if I can.
-Make time and Space between SAT and ACT, you plan on taking them twice. Trials and Errors I say. Also Ingore the CCers common 1900 is bad…
-You’ll not Behind in Math… Most students (going to college) take Pre-Cal in their senior year.
-Gave you studying tips…

Well when i read this I thought it was cry for help in Time Management. I think I have given my solution almost 5-7 times already. I have to say, as a junior myself, I don’t want to take the SAT my senior year since I will so much that I will be stressing over and don’t want have to worry about it. (I’m in IB and have an EE and CAS hours to plus the normal stuff). My plan is to take it in March, May, and June(so much fun right! sarcasm). With the emphasis on AP’s, you have to remember that you want to do well on all of them regardless of credit. My suggestion for hw is to do the least amount first then move on to the more involved hw last. You aren’t behind in math, you are right on schedule, if you want to take Pre-Calc during the summer you can. And studying tips: no tv or internet until AFTER your finish everything. Start your hw almost immediately you get home,(I get home around 6 and have a 20 minute break before I start). Write everything down and have a planner.

Sorry for late reply. Yeah, I agree with you. It’s just too much pressure when you have 3 AP exams in a two week testing period. And I should do my homework first other then watching TV -.-’

Anyone else?
