I honestly cannot bring myself to do anything at home.
I can't concentrate on homework or studying until at night, around 10pm, when I started to feel rushed. When I try taking naps (I'm a really heavy sleeper), I end up waking up the next day. I waste my time doing nothing on the computer.

I was just wondering what kind of schedule you guys follow when you come home from school. Hopefully it'll help me set up something too.

I get home at like 4 usually except on Tuesdays. I do whatever until 5, then I start my homework. Then I
ll eat dinner at like 7, then continue to do my homework until I finish, and then I
ll do whatever until I feel like going to bed. Except in Wednesdays…I have youth group at 6:15, so I`ll get home and then leave at 5:45 and do homework when I get back at like 9:30.

That
s just my fall schedule. When spring sports start, It
s crazy.

Fall schedule:
School from 8:15-5:30 but more like 5:45 because of band practice. I also get to school around 7:30 since my mornings are busy too with either help on hw or meetings or something that has to be done.
I get home around 6, take a 15-20 min shower and eat a snack.
6:30 maybe or earlier, I start my hw listening to music only and except for 15 minutes for dinner I have no breaks really between assignments.
9-10 I finish hw, 9 is an early night.
10-10:30 I study for SAT and PSAT or whenever I finish my hw.
10:30-11 I have a short break before I go to bed to relax(either tv or a book).

My schedule will be less stressed after contest and football season, I will get out school at 4:30 maybe, so 30 min after the bell rings.

My HS schedule varied a lot (did FIRST Robotics and participated in math team/other activities) so during certain times of the year, my schedule would get quite busy and I wouldn’t get home until 9 or 10 on some days. Senior year wasn’t that bad since I had a free period and went home early. Usually I just found time to do HW during school, then did the rest at home.

I’m at MIT now, not as many classes (only about 4 hrs of classes or recitations a day) so there’s more time for HW. But homework (“psets”) at MIT is hard. It always helps to be good at budgeting your time and doing homework efficiently.

Get to school at 7, finish at 3:30.
On Mondays, I usually go to work and work until around 10:30 PM.
On days I don’t work, I go to golf practice right after school. 4:00 to 7:00.
Play alto sax, feed myself and my siblings, study or read a little, prep a bit for the SAT and PSAT.

Until whenever I finish, I work on my school homework (two APs, one elective).
After I finish, I work on my homework for the 3 online courses I take (two AP, one language honors course). I watch an episode or two of a drama or anime if I have the time, then I sleep. I usually end up going to sleep at around 2 AM.

I’m a lot busier on Saturdays. When I am too deprived of sleep, I sometimes have “ditch days” where I neglect doing all/almost all of my homework and fall asleep as soon as I get home from practice. On Saturdays, I teach middle schoolers for half of the day, volunteer at a nursing home I luffleee for a few hours afterwards, and then I get home. Sometimes I hang out with my friends, but I use most weekends to catch up on the myriad of homework I failed to finish during the week. ;p
