<p>I'm hoping to be a bit more on top of my classes next year. So could you give me tips on time management. Like how does your normal school day go, when your in school that is.</p>
<p>6:00 - Wake up
6:15 - shower, eat, get dressed
6:30 - before school soccer conditioning
8:00 - school starts
3:00 - school ends
3:15 - soccer practice
5:45 - shower at home, eat dinner
6:00 - study
9:30 - facebook
10:00 - chill out/watch tv
11/11:30ish - bed</p>
<p>I call shenanigans…why on Earth would you shower before having to get all sweaty and grimy? And then have to attend school in that state?</p>
<p>last year
6:40 Get up, shower, wolf some breakfast down
7:40 Arrive late for Orchestra, then school
11:30 Lunch, finish any undone work
3:30 School ends
3:30 Homework
5:30 End homework, get dressed for field hockey practice
8:15 Home, eat dinner, read a little
9:00 Homework
12:00-1:00 Sleep</p>
<p>when sports season was over just replace practice with moar homework</p>
<p>I’m going to call shenanigans. You get one hour of sleep? Or was that a typo?</p>
<p>Last year, I’d get out of bed at 5:40. Between then and six, I’d enjoy coffee and just try to get myself awake. If hungry, then I’d eat breakfast. Between 6 and 6:30, I’d do morning things, like washing my face, getting dressed, making sure my hair doesn’t look to awful (it reaches my belly button, so it takes time to make sure I didn’t roll out of a car crash) and then I’d leave for school to catch my early bus, which started at 7:20.</p>
<p>2:20 - get home. If I’ve got math, this is when I’d do math. I find it easy to do homework right after school, so that way I can just laze around at night, watch movies, etc. Usually homework would be done by 5.</p>
<p>Honestly, the most important thing I think is to not procrastinate with school work. Do it when you get home, even if you just want to sit around. That way, you’ve got the time you need, and you won’t be rushing. Besides, it’s a lot easier to get work done if you’re not all full and relaxed.</p>
<p>5:30 wake up and take a shower and organize my backpack for the day then put on my uniform
7:15 get to school
2:35 school ends
2:35-4:00ish finish any homework that I didn’t finish during my free periods
4:00 to 6:30 eat something on my way to golf(last year) or crew(this year)
6:30 or 7:00ish-5:30 sleep</p>
<p>5.30 wake up and eat and take a shower
6.30 go to school
7.30 school starts
2.00-4.00 school ends
5.30 dinner and take a shower and facebook
7.00 reading booksssss
9.00 relax or still reading
10.00 sleep Zzzzz</p>
<p>I have no homework. still don’t know why but I hardly do any homework at home.
since reading all above,I think I should study harder.</p>
<p>6:00 Wake up, eat, shower, get dressed, etc.
7:20 School starts, but I usually don’t arrive until 7:30…
2:40 School ends, I’m home by 3:20 if I don’t have a club meeting
3:30 - 6:30ish Homework
6:30ish - 7:00ish Tennis (ball machine… gives a good workout)
7:00ish - 8:00 Shower, dinner
8:00 - 8:30 Piano practice
8:30 - 10:00 Read, chill out
10:00 - 6:00 Sleep</p>
<p>6:50 Wake up, shower, etc., etc., rush out of the door
7:30 Arrive at school
7:50 School starts
3:00 School ends
3:00-4:00 Any club meetings, etc.
4:00-5:00 Homework
5:00 Dinner
6:00-9:00 Homework
9:00-9:45 Piano Practice
9:45-11:00 Homework/Reading
11:00-11:30 Watch TV
11:30-12:00 Do whatever
12:30 Sleep</p>
<p>
</p>
<p>I shower first to wake up. I cannot go anywhere without showering or else I still have sleepers in my eyes and I can barely open my eyes. Obviously I shower after soccer conditioning.</p>
<p>Last year:</p>
<p>7:00 Wake up
7:20 Leave for school
8:00-2:30 School
2:30-~6:00 Hang out with people, attend clubs, or whatever
~6:00 Dinner
~6:30-9:30 Do whatever I want
9:30 Get ready for bed, do homework if I have to
9:45-10:30 Read
10:30 Sleep</p>
<p>5:30 Wake up, shower, etc.
6:40 Leave for school
7:20 - 2:30 School
2:30 - 4:00 Club meeting, after school study hall (ear snack while driving home)
4:30 Home, homework
6:30 Tennis
7:00 Shower, dinner
8:00 - 8:30 Piano
8:30 - 11:00 Homework, read, text friends
11:30 - 5:30 Sleep</p>
<p>I’ve decided that I will not be using Facebook starting the first day of school. I’ll leave my account activated, but I won’t be using it (as often… probably on the weekends at most).</p>
<p>Okay, since my semesters were different, I’ll post both of them:</p>
<p>First semester:</p>
<p>5:30 - Wake up. Between waking up and AM period (period before school actually starts), I do all the basics: shower, breakfast, personal hygiene, and just sit around. Leave home 6:30~6:40ish
7:12 - AM Period
8:15 to 3:16 - School
4:10 - Get home, eat, then procrastinate (not a good idea, I know) or do required reading
8:00 - THINK about doing homework
10:00 - Actually START my homework
12:00~1:00ish - Sleep</p>
<p>My first semester was crazy, since my English teacher was actually really really tough (English as a Second Language, she was the best I’ve ever had <3)</p>
<p>Second semester:</p>
<p>6:00 - Wake up, no more P.E. Between waking up and 1st period, I do the same I did before, but now more relaxed.
8:15 to 3:16 - School
Mondays and Wednesdays, 7:30pm to 9:55pm - French @ local CC, then get home, dinner, do as much homework as I could, then sleep 1:00ish
Tuesdays and Thursdays - Volunteering after school until 6pm, then get home, eat, procrastinate (gosh, this was the worst year for procrastinating…), then homework and sleep. On lucky days I would go sleep before midnight!</p>
<p>I thought I needed serious help with time management, but looking back it was just a matter of setting priorities and NOT procrastinating. When I first came to the U.S., I would finish my homework first thing when I got home. I don’t know what’s happened to me to change :(</p>
<p>Senior year will be different: as little Facebook and loafing around as possible.</p>
<p>6:00AM - Wake up.
6:15AM - Get ready.
6:30AM - Leave [School is over a hour away]
Study in car/get coffee if I’m early
7:40AM - First Bell
8:00AM - 3:00PM - School
-4:00PM, 5:00PM, or 7:00PM get home [depends on if I have something after school/volunteering, etc]
6:00-7:00PM - Start homework.
11:00PM - Get ready for bed and watch TV.
1:00 - 2:00AM - Fall asleep [Insomnia…]</p>
<p>That’s a good day. I procrastinate bad and usually am up to 2:00AM doing homework.</p>
<p>My schedule varies. Most of the time, it’s like this:</p>
<p>6:30-7:00 Wake up
7:00-7:30 Get ready, eat breakfast, etc.
7:35 Leave for school, get coffee, chill out in my car listening to music
8:15 Class starts
3:45 School ends
4:00-9:00 Sometimes I’m at home, sometimes I’m dining with friends, sometimes I’m not doing anything, sometimes I’m at rehearsal for something…it all depends. Whatever goes on, it goes here.
9:00 Home, usually, doing homework.</p>
<p>What time I get to sleep varies…sometimes it’s 12, sometimes I don’t actually get to sleep. <em>shrug</em> I have a very flexible schedule.</p>
<p>Typical Schedule (differs based on semester though)-</p>
<p>6:00- Wake up and get ready for school
7:20- Zero Period and school
3:30- School over
3:35- Start homework at school
5:00- Marching Band
8:00- Home for shower and dinner
8:45- More homework and studying
9:30- Practice trombone/piano
10:30- More studying/homework and some procrastinating on my computer
12:00 (ish)- Bed time</p>
<p>0800 – Rise and Shine.</p>
<p>0800 - 2100 – Do whatever the hell needs doing for the day.</p>
<p>2120 – Sleep.</p>
<p>Wow you guys study/do homework a lot.
