Hello everyone.

I just took the March SAT yesterday and it went pretty bad....
I'm feeling around the 1800s or so
The time felt like 25 minutes was only 15.
When I took many practice tests at home or at the library, I finished all my sections with around 5-7 minutes to spare. On all those practice tests, I scored 2000+
Does anyone have any tips on how to fix my time problem for the next SAT in June?
I really need help.

Thank You.

When you take practice tests by yourself, do you bubble a scantron? Or do you just circle answers in the book? That’s one thing that can mess with your timing…all that bubbling does take time.

If you do bubble when you practice, then it sounds to me like you’ve already got the timing down when you take the test in lower pressure situations. Perhaps it was just first-test jitters?

The last possibility, of course, is that the proctor screwed up. That happens more often than you’d think. If it was only one section that felt incredibly short, do you know anyone else from your test room you can confirm with? Not that you can do anything about it now…but it’d be nice to know.
