timothy bertram vs carl hoeger .... who's better for chem 6C

Carl Hoeger
funny and entertaining but he seems like an a**hole and he kind of creeps me out

vs

Tim Bertram
very nice prof but hoeger i think may be more knowledgable and experienced

dude, you’re taking a class with him, not going on a date with him.

they’re both knowledgeable (it’s general chemistry). hoeger has loads more experience teaching. hoeger is not a professor, meaning his full-time job is to teach. bertram is a professor, meaning his job is 90% writing grants and keeping his lab running, and 10% teaching (if you’re lucky). and to boot, he’s an assistant professor 2 years in – his goal right now is to produce lots of papers that’ll help him score tenure.

you forgot brydges :p

^ no i cant take her bcuz i have another class at that time

ahh ok. well my vote goes for hoeger (haven’t had him, but if he is what astrina says, then my vote goes to him).

Take Hoeger. He might be harder, but you’ll learn much more from him.
