Tips- All experienced AP Physics-ers

I am taking regular physics and don't have much of an idea about it. But i want to take the AP test.

Can you guys tell me what textbook and study guide and the method of preparation I should use to be ready to take the AP Physics B examination by May of this year.

dunno about the study guide (Barrons, Kaplan, PR are the 3 most reliable, usually), but get the cutnell & johnson txtbook.

pr is very good, they're study guides are very informative and everything is step by step. barron, though harder doesn't explain as well so you might want to use pr for learning the material and barrons for problems. as for textbook, cutnell and johnson are good and giancoli.

I suggest not getting CliffsAP for Physics (although it was good for Bio) because some formulas/topics are missing.

Halliday, Walker and Resnick. Fundamentals of Physics.

Very good book.

my school used gianacoli

Halliday, Walker and Resnick

the best. also some really funny questions.
