Where can I find internships that are reasonably attainable for a college freshman and do not require 2 letters of recommendation?

how about a high school senior as well? thank you!

@Lurker: I’ve already tried that, but most of them are specifically looking for upperclassmen/recent grads

What kind of internships are you looking for?

i don’t really have a specific internship in mind because i am undecided in concentration

how can you search for internships if you don’t know what type of internships you want? there are thousands and thousands of places…

Yeah, looking for any internship is not smart and will result in plenty of frustration for you. At least figure out a general idea. Once you have a general idea of what could interest you, you can start searching.

Keep in mind that freshmen typically don’t do internships, even at Harvard. If you don’t know what you want to do at ALL, don’t feel pressure to get an internship. Get a job instead. You’ll probably enjoy a standard summer job better anyway (and I say that as one with experience…summer jobs are way more fun, plus they will probably pay better)
