Title IV Financial Aid Authorization

<p>I received an email regarding this Title IV form I am supposed to fill out.
Is there any downside to ignoring this? I'm receiving SOME financial aid, but not FULL aid, therefore I feel like filling out this form is a waste of time. Why not allow my federal aid to be applied to tuition and room/board, and then pay the remaining tuition and miscellaneous fees in cash?</p>

<p>Does anybody have experience with this??</p>

<p>I got the same email and I’m confused beyond belief because I’m not supposed to receive any financial aid because I’m a fully-funded PhD student.</p>

<p>I’m only getting some, not all, aid too and I just checked yes to both boxes and sent it back.</p>
