<p>I have seen people saying that they made the mistake of not titling their essays. Does that really matter? I never though it was necessary.</p>

<p>are you talking about titling them "Why Chicago", "Supplemental essay", ect. or about actually giving your main supplemental essay a name, like you would for a story or article? </p>

<p>If you give it a clever title, that might help. Working cliches into titles can be amusing--I wrote a paper on the role of women in Fight Club and American Beauty and titled it, "How Will Fish Fit into a Bicycle's World," and I suspect that bumped up my grade.</p>
