<p>I'm a rising senior who has her college list just about figured out. Except one thing. I don't know whether or not to apply to Tulane. I'm really lukewarm on it, but it has alot that i do want in a school.</p>
<p>I'm only applying to five schools, and my GC really wants me to add a sixth...Would Tulane be a good choice?</p>
<p>My schools are:
Smith
Scripps
Pitzer
Union
UAlabama.</p>
<p>My quick stats are Rank 3/441 at a public school. 34 on ACTs, 5 on APUSH, 5 on AP Psych. Lots of extracurriculars. Work part time. 1000 volunteer hours.</p>
<p>Is Tulane a good sixth spot? I would attend if the money was decent there.</p>
<p>Interesting. My D had Smith, Scripps, Pitzer and Union on her prospectives list (along with a bunch of others) and ended up at Tulane on scholarship. She attend an academic private, but other than that her stats were very similar to yours. If Tulane offers its free online application again this year I’d say the decision to add Tulane would be, um, uncomplicated.</p>

<p>My stats were similar, maybe slightly lower I guess, and I got the 24k-a-year scholarship. I’m sure you would too… maybe you’d even get more money.</p>
<p>LOL and besides, Tulane is always begging for people to apply. You should be getting their “special application” or whatever soon so it’s quick and easy to apply.</p>
