To all the EASC Stanford Friends and others

Now that it is all over, some of us admitted, most of us not, I think we should have one look back on the good times:

The barefoot class of 2010, the wiki, the neverending add-a-line story, the day of decisions, Ashveer.

No matter where we end up and what we do with our lives, know that I love you all! I had a great time when we had that time together.

Shaina

Thank you. We had some great times. Great times.

yes this board has certainly been great no matter what

Its good to see ya shaina, hope stanford or harvard worked out for ya (they didnt for me... oh well).

Where is everyone is wasn't accepted going to end up. I guess my choices are now Northwestern, Wash U, Georgetown, and maybe Notre Dame...

Definatly not my most desired situation, I wanted to go somewhere warmer, and out of the midwest... oh well.

How about you guys?

Fear not ye who have dared the gates of Stanford! It's not where you go or who you are that counts; it's what you DO in life. Wherever you go to school, if you succeed in your goals there...the skies are your limit. In fact, you might even be so successful that Stanford will send you another letter...this time begging you to come there. ;)

Keep thinking and dreaming of that day...in the mean time, work hard at the school you will call home for the next 4 years.

Wolffy! I'm sorry you struck out too. The only place I got into was Oberlin. The only place I haven't heard from yet is Wesleyan... maybe today. Don't let it get you down man, you got into some GREAT schools! Get excited about them. :) I'm trying to as well.

I was just waitlisted at Wesleyan... I guess Oberlin is it.

i'm choosing between ucla, where i'm already an alumni scholar, northwestern, cornell, or u penn

waiting for my rejection letter from princeton, just to solidify things

Hang in there Shaina... all will turn out well... Just make sure to tear up the Oberlin campus for you fellow Stanford Board Comrades...

I’m really glad to have “met” with you guys. Can you believe it’s only been four months since EA decisions? It feels like it’s been forever.

Anyway, good luck to you all, whatever you make do in life. :)

good luck to all of you...
maybe I will cross paths with some of you next year..
yet, stanford will always be my #1... we shall see

Heeyyyyyooo!

Well well well, it took me long enough to find this thing. Anyways.

So yeah, Berkeley it is. I'm sort of in cahoots with a woman named Nancy Scheper-Hughes at Cal, and she is really big in medical anthro, so much so that she wants me to have dinner w/ her and Paul Farmer! But yeah, Cal is being great to me, and I'm glad I'm here because frankly, the connections that this school's med anthro dept has to UCSF are awesome, among other things.

I really loved the time that we all spent on these boards, playing off each others' humor, esp. my knife in the face comments to the chances threads. Anyone who feels like it, please keep in touch.

solidarity, peace, and love
-Ashveer

(ps. if ANYBODY is going into anthro/medical anthro/public health/going to Cal, LET ME KNOW)
