Do we get anything mailed to us that the regular acceptances got? I'm an international so I urgently need to know what kind of financial documents Stanford wants. The sooner we get some mail, the better!

Thanks!

Thanks!

We would get an big packet with our waitlist admission letter in it, along with other things like stickers and financial aid stuff.

After we say yes, Stanford will send us another follow-up packet with To-Do list late May.

Btw, does anyone know what we should write in the email to the school we committed to before the waitlist results? It is email right?

I got my packet today. It comes with some cool word magnets.

The admission letter/email says that you have to forward or copy to Stanford the email that you send to your committed school telling them you’ve changed your mind. I’m reluctant to send mine because I got kind of friendly with their admissions and financial aid officers

OK, thanks guys. Yea, I’m dreading having to send that letter to my old school (Tufts). I immediately chose Tufts in early April over an Ivy and several great LAC and I really, really like it. Honestly, Stanford is the only school in the world I would chose over Tufts so it’s kind of heartbreaking.

What do they mean with “copy” an email?

And showbear, where are you located? I haven’t gotten anything. Well, I AM in Europe…

I’m in Louisiana and I took copy to mean copy and paste? Which seems redundant when you can forward it. Maybe I imagined copy to be in the email from Stanford. I read the congratulations part and then zoomed through the rest while I danced around the room haha.

Hmm well, I just emailed Shawn Abbott a basic “I emailed my regional rep”. Hope that’s enough.
