To any current Cornellians ...

My parents are trying to figure out when we'll have time to visit my colleges this April, since we already have a few of the weekends in that month tied up with family obligations.

I've been looking all over, but does anyone know when Cornell will release their acceptance/rejection notifications this year... It would really help me, especially since my mom keeps bugging me about it.

Basically:
(Probably only current Cornell students will know this...)

Does Cornell give out their notifications ONLINE in addition to by mail?
Also, when? ON April 1, or are letters MAILED ON April 1, meaning they'd be received a few days later? Or are letters ever mailed before/after April 1?

Any insight would really help alleviate some of the confusion in my household... Possibly kids who currently attend these schools and remember from last year?
I've searched the Cornell site and this forum but couldn't find any clear answer.

Thank you.

They are online as well as mail. I'm not sure the dates however.

Oh, alright. Well thank you! That's good to know... I'll be sure to check the online status thing a few days before and after April 1st.

Last year it was March 30. The letters are mailed the same day the online results come out, so you can find out first online.

Looks like it's changed this year, though. Did you check out the admissions website? They have information there.

<a href="http://admissions.cornell.edu/downloads/freshmen_reqs_timetable.pdf%5B/url%5D">http://admissions.cornell.edu/downloads/freshmen_reqs_timetable.pdf</a></p>

Admissions decisions to regular decision applicants: "CALS, Hotel, ILR: rolling beginning in February, other 4 colleges: early April."
So it may not be March 30. I dunno. If you want more info, look on the website or email or call.
