Just as the title says....

There are many schools of thought on this one, but my favorites are The Hangovers and After Eight.

I still have this one loaded on my IPOD. I miss Cornell!

Cayuga's Waiters

(judging by the youtube videos and mp3's I found online :P)

^ I've heard of them, but I thought that they were no longer in existence? There's no website for them at all...?

Cayuga's Waiters are pretty lame IMO. They're only famous for the one good song. What's the group that did Save the Clocktower, Save the World? They're good.

I too thought that Cayuga's Waiters were the best when I was a prefrosh, but you will soon come to discover that the other jillion a capella groups at Cornell have much to offer. My favorites are both subsets of the University Chorus, so their performances are always polished and well-rehearsed. "Business Time" changed my life.

If you're interested in joining an a cappella group, you should check them out during Orientation week...The A Cappella Advisory Council runs "Orientation Arch Sings" on a number of evenings around campus. It's kind of like joining a sorority or fraternity because it's all about fit. That being said... my personal choice for the "best" would be the Waiters! To answer the question above... yes, they still have a website! Home - Cayuga's Waiters

Lianri - You like Last Call

Yeah the Waiters are pretty lame. You know you aren't a good artist when your most popular song is a cover.

ohh thanks for opening up my eyes! hahha

The A Cappella groups are about as diverse as Cornell is! There are so many groups - you will have to check it out - whether you are interested as a participant or as a member of the audience. There are men's groups, women's groups, co-ed, etc. There are more serious groups who compete in national A Cappella competitions... more classical groups, etc... it's a matter of individual taste. Also, some of the groups are harder to get into than others. Here are the registered groups, you might get an idea just by reading about them. A Cappella Advisory Council

Last Call and the Hangovers are my favorites... never miss a show
