To Do Before You're In College?

What would you do before you're in college?
I want to take ballerina classes. It's my low-key, first thing on my bucket list. And I want to be in a movie..

Build a railgun.

Ha, my first thought was clean my room. It hasn’t been really clean in a long time, and I can’t wait to get rid of all the junk I’ve accumulated in the past 17 years.

I’m also going to train myself to survive on 5 hours of sleep a night. I read somewhere that Bill Clinton did this in college and it seems to have worked out well for him. It might be a little crazy, but the extra time would be nice.

Relax/not worry about grades. It is not so much doing something, as doing less. But the idea of getting enough sleep on a school night is extremely appealing.

Publish a scientific paper.

Go on the Fuller Center Bicycle Adventure!

It’s this cross-country bicycling trip from Georgia to Vancouver. Six weeks. I really truly want to do it. It seems like a fitting end to high school and a fitting start to college.

This one girl jk aha

Just 1 science olympiad medal or states… 4 chances at regionals. And if we make states it’ll all be good (first time in at least 5 years we didn’t make it was last year when I joined).
Crush magnet school attendees with elective classes for the competition/ meetings 4 days a week for their academic competition / ridiculous adults “helping” with building.

I would sleep 16 hours a night like I have been doing the past week and a half.

I’d love to finally write a screenplay, but I think senioritis has already crushed that dream

Get into a college I actually want to go to.

Do you know a college you actually want to go to, halcyonheather?

I admit that I don’t actually know where I want to go, only where I should want to go.

Go on a vacation to another country with friends the summer after senior year. I kind of did this last summer, but it’d be fun to go with no adults whatsoever and actually plan and budget everything ourselves.

Get a tattoo

Throw a crazy party (cliche, but who’s never thought about it?!)

Go to state with my Cross Country team

Take some classes I honestly am interested in (never done this before… I’m sure you guys can relate)

Spend some time figuring out who I really am.

Enjoy my life and my the lack of responsibility I have, because that will all change soon.

Become more independent

@spencerg011 there’s always Script Frenzy in April – you should look it up. The challenge is to write a hundred pages of script in the month of April. I’ve always wanted to try it, since it is technically a partner of NaNoWriMo.

I want to be able to do whatever I want without responsibilities to care about before going to college. And to have an epic sleepover with a friend of mine filled with video games and comics that has a strong probability of never happening because he’s a guy and my parents are really traditional.

I’d like to go on a roadtrip with my friends, and visit friends in other states.

I would love to:

Learn a new language for fun
Visit New Zealand
Go to a Kpop concert
Enroll in a cooking camp
Play the accordion
Learn how to juggle flaming swords or something…

And win awards and other academic things, of course
But I doubt I will ever do many of these things.

Go on a roadtrip
Get laid
Go to NYC
Do research with a professor or get an internship in a major newspaper.

@J24601J, Are you a boy or a girl?

Is that in order? Get laid on the roadtrip to NYC where you’ll do research with a professor or get an internship in a major newspaper.
