I took a Subject Test a few months ago, the Math 2 one. And at the end of it, I kinda gave up completely, I didnt study at all and being in BC Calculus, i wasn't very prepared for this old stuff =P

Question is, im applying to some big name universities. My score was 640, which is pretty bad on the Math 2 which is rediculously weighed. I think I can keep collegeboard from sending it out. Should i? Or is it better than i see a rather crappy score as opposed to none?

You cannot keep collegeboard some sending it since its on your SAT report. Unless you only send ACT, you are out of luck. It will not help you, but probably won't hurt you (unless you apply on a platform of math interest).

You can't prevent the College Board from sending it - score reports include all of your SAT I and SAT II scores.

If you really don't want them seeing it, what you can do is:

a) If you've already taken the SAT and sent a score report for that sitting, and if you don't want to report scores from any tests you took after that, you can decide not to send another score report.

b) Send your score report, but don't self-report the score on the application. They'll still see the score, but will realize that you don't want it to be taken into consideration. (Whether they'll consider it anyway is another question.)
