[To International Students] About Financial Guarantee Form

<p>I have a question about Financial Guarantee Form.
When you see the second page of the form (Affidavit of support), there is a part written, "I guarantee to give the student named above the following....U.S. $___<strong><em>for 2007/2008, U.S. $</em></strong>_____for 2008/2009."</p>

<p>In this part, what things do my sponsor have to fill out? .... $__________ means "fill the amount of UVA tuition (academic+dorm,etc.) that a sponsor can pay for me?"</p>

<p>For example, UVA tuition for 1 year is $30. If my sponsor puts U.S. $40 for 2007/2008, U.S. $40 for 2008/2009....... Is it right?</p>

<p>im itnl student, and when i filled it (or when my father did), he put about 15% above the actual tuition on the form for 07/08 with additional 15% increase for 08/09. </p>

<p>if you put say $40k gurantee if the actual is $30k, you should be fine. i would still call UVa tho. the 30K UVa tuition covers everything including dorms and such.</p>
