I will be going to Ohio State next fall. I got accepted to a t20 school, but chose Ohio State because they are giving me basically a free ride. Will my chances, of course depending on my grades and what not, be decent to get into a prestigious grad school?

Depends on the grad school in question. Since you are posting on the engineering section, I presume that you want to attend engineering grad school. For such a grad school, the most important attribute you will need is research. Publication in a major journal would be ideal, but if you can't get that (and most undergrad won't), then strong research experience coupled with strong prof recs will suffice. If all you have is strong grades but minimal/mediocre reseearch experience, your chances of getting into a top engineering grad school are low.

Okay, thanks saaky. I'm guessing for a top business school, I would need excellent work experience, and for law school, a high GPA and good LSAT. Any other contributors to either of these three that would help to gain entrance from not a top ranked undergrad program?
