Dont call me honey. You said wouldnt want to date someone who is all of those and I said I DID date someone who fit that. I never commented ANYTHING about you. I dont know what you look like. I dont care. I dont care what you wear.

Don't get snippy with me. I don't care about you and I don't give a **** if you think I'm shallow. This is America, I can choose whoever the hell I want to marry whether he is 5'2" or 6'1".

Get over yourself.

No, I'll continue. You never answered my question. You gave no validation as to why a guy must be a certain height. Sounds like you're compensating for your lack of height.

Because I like a guy who is taller than me. I like being able to get on my tippy-toes to kiss him on the cheek or to have him bend down a little so I can kiss him. I think it's cute (and for all you guys out there, admit that you think a short girl trying to kiss you on tippy-toes is cute too). Now I'm all embarassed lol. Happy now!?

However, that is not to say that if a guy is short, I'm going to automatically reject him.

Taken from my OP:

However, unlike the way loslobos portrayed me, if a guy isn't 6'1", but can make me laugh, is a gentleman, is adventurous, is driven then I would still give him a chance. However, I prefer a guy to be 6'1".

Asking something like that is like the equivalent of "Why do you like girls with big boobs?". It's a personal preference. And just like with me, if you find a wonderful, sweet, caring girl who ends up being flatchested (just an example here), you're not going to reject her over one little thing.

Now can we stop the name-calling and flaming posts?

my boyfriend is 6'11 and i think he is way too handsome. but of course, he can't compete with sauronvoldemort's tremendous beauty and artistic greatness. After all, he has charcoal black hair that falls down to his feet in the epitome of manly vigor. His greatness eminates from his entire being and blesses the ground he leaves behind him. Why, I saw a cripled woman touch this ground and she was healed.

smurfgirl,

hahaha you're 4'11? and you expect your guy to be 6'1 at least? LMAO. Give me a break. Try kissing a guy who's 5'6 by leaning over before you move to 6'1 guys.

I'll quote you one of the US Air Force mottoes that I like and I live by (even though I'm not military) : "Aim high". :D LOL

That's unreasonably high though. You'd give your 6'1 bf back pains by making him bend down a lot.

Anyway, wouldn't you feel intimidated by that dude? I mean, I'm 5'11, and whenever I meet a girl (even if she's hot) that's less than 5'2 I feel like I'm her dad or something. Imagine holding hands with that person. Yuck!

Well if he loves me, then he can deal with the pain! :-P

And it's not intimidating; it's actually a bit of a turn on. :)

I'll give you that. But it would take some extraordinary good looks to get me attracted to a girl who's a foot shorter than me! And she would have to look totally exotic so that people don't confuse her for my daughter/sister!

But I don't get how a 6'1 guy would be such a turn on for you. I personally don't like tall girls (5'8 or over) because I feel intimidated. And just imagine how big she'd become after popping out 2 kids! Yikes!

I understand what you mean about people getting confused.

Oh boy, 6'1" isn't the only thing that's a huge turn on. :-P

If it's not the height, then what else? :P

I knew there was more girls liked in a guy than just height and good looks!! haha.

Long fingers...

He's probably a fratboy.

girls smaller than 5 feet aiming for guys above 6 is against natural laws of proportion and physics. Most importantly, it is infuriating for 5'8 people like me! what are we supposed to do--date girls that are 4'3?!?1?!?!? This is another confirmation that the first step is to build our accounts before we can get some upscale action : )

frasi, what are you talking about? Date whoever you want...

Yeah, I wonder how sex with a midget is like for a basketball player.

^^ I think you should try it out with Lebron James and ask him. :)

6'1" not 6'7", silly (although one of my guy friends was 6'7" and whenever we stood next to each other, people got a kick out of it :-P ). But 5'9" and fit isn't bad either!

And long fingers are nice ala Wentworth Miller.

And loslobos, was the fratboy thing referring to me? I don't know who you were responding to.

^lol...your entitled to your preferences. But I do have the feeling that if you saw me I wouldn't "read" as short because of my build, or certainly not as small or unable to offer protection to someone 10 inches shorter than me. That's the other thing; what about a guy who's 6'2 but weighs less than me! Girls say they like tall men because they like to feel protected-what about an average height guy that could absolutely beat the crap out of some scrawny 6'2er. Not mention, the correlation with height and whats "down there" is b.s....it has more to do with ethnicity and nourishment.

holy **** wutang stop obsessing over your height. You're probably too sexy for most girls anyway.
